Intro to Flamenco 4-Week Workshop Series with Candi Rodriguez

This adult flamenco dance workshop is for beginners, focusing on footwork, arm technique, posture, and rhythm in a step-by-step format. No prior experience needed, and drop-ins are welcome.

Led by Candi Rodriguez — a flamenco dancer and teacher with 8+ years of training under Xianix Barrera Flamenco — this class breaks down the foundational elements of flamenco in a format that's welcoming, structured, and actually fun.

What you'll learn in each class:

• Footwork and marking steps (zapateado)

• Arm and hand technique

• Posture and flamenco carriage

• Rhythm and palmas (hand clapping)

• Turns and transitional movement

No dance background required. Every class is self-contained — show up any Thursday throughout the six weeks.
