Beginner students are also encouraged to take the open level Technique class on Sundays at 1:00pm.

Beginner Level 1 is the perfect class for students who have never taken a flamenco class before and would like to start off from zero OR those who need a refresher. You don’t need to have dance experience. If you do have dance experience it is still recommended to start with this beginner class. We dedicate the time to establish an introductory foundation in technique that focuses on: floreo (hand movements), braceo (arm movements), zapateado/taconeo (footwork), marcajes (marking steps), compas y palmas (rhythms and hand-clapping), giros (turns) and proper placement of the body. All students are expected to make time to practice on their own in order to progress in their training (which can be as little as 5-15 minutes a day). Email for further details.   • If you cannot attend the live class, simply book the ZOOM class and you will be emailed the recording of the class.
